Our loved cat was shot by some callous b*ard with a crossbow. We want to say thank you so much if you are able to "givealittle" for vet bill
Auckland
On Tuesday morning our beloved fur-baby Bosley was shot by some callous b*^#tard with a pistol crossbow. He was taken to the vet where he was sedated, x-rays taken, examination done and then he was anaesthetised and the arrow was removed. We were very lucky that the arrow had not entered the abdominal cavity and narrowly missed his spine. We are so grateful to the veterinary staff for their professional and calm approach and for helping our dear Bosley (and his human Mamma) in such a stressful and traumatising time. We have been humbled by the offers of donations towards the vet bills and want to say thank you so much if you are able to "givealittle". We would like to make a donation to the SPCA and/or Paw Justice and/or the Humane Society if we receive excess funds. Paw Justice is also offering a $1,000 reward for information leading to the successful location and prosecution of the person/people responsible (conditions apply). See their Facebook page.
Payment of veterinary bills. We would like to donate to the SPCA if we have surplus funds.
Closed Case ! 11 April 2020
Just a quick update. Thank you for your concern and donations for Bosley. Bosley's doing really well now fortunately. In fact I think he’s completely forgotten (memory of a gold-fish i think 🤣). His mother is still traumatised though. Police case has been closed as the father of the “lads” (x3) (who both the police and I know did this) (they found another crossbow arrow on their property) are not allowing the police to speak to his boys (WTF 😡). The police said that they cannot insist on talking to these teens. Why is this I wonder? If it was a person who was shot with a cross-bow would they allow the father to protect his kids (2 x teens at school + an older guy)? NO FRICKEN WAY ! So what’s the difference I ask ?!!!! I don’t have a lot of confidence in the police system I’m afraid and the powers that they have. Bosley however is doing well now and that's all I can ask for. Thanks again.
