Bradley Leydon has been selected as part of the NZ Junior rowing team, competing at the World Junior Rowing Champs in Lithuania.
Otago
After years of extremely hard work and dedication Bradley Leydon has done it, he has been selected to represent NZ at the World Junior Rowing Championships in the single scull event.
Bradley has trained tirelessly to ensure his goals could be achieved and now all he needs is a little financial help to make them a reality. Representing your country is not cheap unfortunately, but that's where we come in to help show our support.
I am involved because I am a rowing coach and a good friend of the Leydon family. I have watched Bradley grow into a dedicated and fine young man, who just happens to be phenomenal at rowing. He now just needs a little extra financial help to ensure his goals become a reality.
All funds raised will go towards all accommodation and transport costs involved in training camps, and most importantly heading over to the World Junior Rowing Camps in Lithuania. New Zealand Rowing does help part fund some costs however the financial responsibility does lie with the individual athlete and their family.
