Krystle was diagnosed with a brain aneurysm while heavily pregnant with her second child.
Otago
Last week we were informed that one of the parents from our Mini Thinkers community was diagnosed with a brain aneurysm and required immediate surgery in Christchurch. To add to the difficult situation both Krystle and her husband Nick were expecting their second child. It is however with absolute pleasure that I can inform you that their baby girl was delivered safely last Friday.
Krystle has undergone surgery and is “conscious and smiling” but will be in Christchurch for at least the next two weeks while they monitor her progress. The doctors have informed Nick that they are expecting her recovery will take months.
To support them through this difficult time we are requesting donations to help ease the burden of financial stress.
Mini Thinkers Early Learning centre is supporting the Hall Family.
We are requesting donations to help ease the burden of financial stress while Nick undertakes the task of not only supporting his wife through her recovery but also his 4-year-old daughter and new born. This includes paying for general living expenses.
Fundraising Event 24 February 2021
We are getting closer to our fundraising event to be held on Friday and have been blown away by all the donations and contributions! Krystle is now in Dunedin and undertaking rehabilitation. There is still a long journey ahead but it is so nice for Nick, Lily and Ellie to have her closer to home.
Thank you to each and everyone of you who have donated. Your kindness is humbling.
