Sadly Brendon was seriously injured in a water sport accident while out with friends in Australia. He is currently in a Melbourne Hospital with his family by his side. He has received multiple serious injuries which required surgery to release the pressure on his brain, he is in an induced coma as a result of his injuries. He is also undergoing more tests to get the true extent of his injuries.

Many of you will know Brendon's sister Samantha, who is actually my sister in law. I want to help Kim, Mike, Brendon, Sam, Ryan during this tragic accident. We all greatly appreciate your love and support.

Use of funds

Funds will be used to help the family with their travel costs and emergency passports. Also there will be medical costs and the cost for having Brendon airlifted from the accident site which we are unsure of how much these will total at this stage.

Great News...... 29 March 2017

Brendon has been allowed to fly back to NZ, he and Kim arrived in Christchurch yesterday morning where he went straight to Christchurch public hospital. He's still settling in and getting used to the new doctors so we will let everyone know when he's up for visitors. He still has a way to go but is doing far better than the Australian doctors initially thought. We're unsure how long he will be in public before he moves on to a rehab hospital. Thanks to everyone who helped us out and for all your love, support and best wishes for Brendon.
