Brianna Steedman's Cancer Battle

Brianna's just turned 6 and is a fabulous wee girl always surrounded with family and friends. She is the youngest child of Julia and Darrin Steedman, but baby number 4 is just around the corner (Due March). She has amazing older brothers, Brock and Liam and the family is heavily involved with BMX in Dunedin and the family competes all over the country for fun!

Brianna has just been diagnosed with Kidney Cancer - Wilms Tumour (Late February 2020). This aggressive cancer has meant an urgent flight from home in Dunedin to treatment in Christchurch and an aggressive treatment plan is in place to get the wee princess through this! This is going to be a tough battle with treatment plans in place for at least the next 3-4 months. Mum, Julia, is also due to have her fourth baby in 6 weeks.

The family is fortunate to be able to stay at the Ronald McDonald House in Christchurch, and both Mum and Dad need to be on hand, initially for Brianna as she goes through her initial stages of treatment and then as the newest baby arrives the additional support is required.

The funds raised through this page and with your amazing support will go to keeping the family out of the red. With both Julia and Darrin unable to work whilst Brianna is having treatment, the normal life bills, the constant cost of travel between Dunedin and Christchurch and trying to maintain a normal balance for the other children will be difficult to maintain.
