Bring Home Lani
Please help us get Lani home safe after she was lost by the pet transport in Blenheim ♥️

As you may be aware, we have had our wee dog Lani lost by the pet transport company in Blenheim en route to us in Queenstown and we are desperately searching for her. We are completely heartbroken and devastated and appreciate any help we can receive on helping us to get her home safe.
Lani, our recently purchased 16 month old Shih Tzu x Bichon was being transported from Kaitaia down south to me in Queenstown, the transport driver let her out at the Blenheim Stockyards on the morning of Wednesday 10th November, he wasn't watching her and she wasn't on a lead.
We have the CCTV surveillance footage from the stock yards in Blenheim where she went missing from, we can see her trotting off in the direction of the cattle yards at 8.32am, the driver only realized she was missing at 9.32am and started to look for her, after less than 20 minutes looking we have him on video driving off at 9.52am. We weren't notified that she was missing until more than 24 hours later on Thursday 11th November at 9.21am via a Facebook message with no care whatsoever saying "she will be safe so don't stress".
I was then on the first flight to Blenheim arriving Thursday evening. We searched day and night. We have had police search dogs in and also flown a drone over the stockyards and surrounding areas. We straight away contacted spca, local pound, local vets, local groomers, local businesses and cafes, we got a radio message out and and advertisement in the local newspaper, we have printed flyers and put posters up around surrounding tracks and businesses, have food stations and night cams being put in and still have a team of people helping search for Lani every day. We have received no offer of help from the pet transport so we desperately need your help!
We have had no sightings whatsoever of our wee girl Lani and we desperately want her home. We made a Facebook page for Lani (Bring Home Lani) please follow this page and help us bring Lani home safe, we truly appreciate the love and support we have received from everyone ♥️
Money raised will be put towards all costs of finding Lani including printing flyers and posters, equipment such as cameras and night vision gear, search parties, food and water stations, traps, reward for her safe return, and potential legal fees if required. Please help us bring her home 💔😪

Lanis Recovery 2 December 2021
As everyone knows of Lani's horrendous 18 days fending for herself after being lost by the transport company. She was found on Sunday 28th November, she was rushed straight to the vet as her condition was very poorly. She was SO skinny and had some nasty wounds caused by grass seeds and the wounds were also very infected. Lani was put under sedation on the Monday 29th to remove the grass seeds and tidy up the wounds. Lani come out of surgery and went home with Fleur. On Wednesday 1st we took Lani back to the vet with suspected more grass seeds which was correct and she spent the night at the vet and went in for her second surgery this week on Thursday 2nd and they found another 30 grass seeds, Lani now has stitches on all four paws and right over her chest wound as some were so deep that they had to cut her open. She will need the bandages on for 4 days and has a follow up appointment on Tuesday 7th and will need a further appointment to have the stitches removed as they are non disolvable. My wee Lani is a fighter and is trying so hard! She did not deserve all this pain from the negligence of the transport driver. The transport company have shown no care and have carried on business as usual. The owner of the transport company promised a further $2000 from the measly $1000 he paid on Monday but he is now saying he can not give me a date to make this payment. I am beyond stressed emotionally and now financially too. Thank uou ♥️♥️♥️
