We're raising funds to purchase 2 portable defibrillators for use throughout the Pelorus Sounds

Marlborough

Havelock Lions are holding a sausage sizzle, mussel pattie and drinks stall at Sport Tasman's 2020 Muddy Buddy fun event to raise funds to purchase two heart defibrillator units for use in the Marlborough Sounds area. These units will be portable, so can quickly be raced to any remote location when required.

About us

We are a member of the international group of Lions Clubs, and an enthusiastic Service Club offering support to all people in Havelock and other areas around the Pelorus Sounds area.

Use of funds

We're very grateful for all funds donated. They will be used to purchase the portable units. If our target is exceeded we'll use the extra to assist the youth of the Pelorus area.

Page Life To Be Extended Until End of 2020  20 March 2020

This page was set up to raise funds for 2 mobile defibrillators at the Marlborough "Muddy Buddy" event on Havelock on Saturday (21/3/2020), run by Sport Tasman.

Because of restrictions on events due to the coronavirus this event has now been postponed until later in the year, and we would like change the end date of the page from 31/3/2020 to the end of the year.

These are needed everywhere. My brother has lost his short term memory through one not being available where he was at the time. He had to wait til the ambulance arrived.
