230 children, parents can't afford fees, 10 teachers rarely paid, 40 boarding students. All need to be fed 3x a day. Small bad water.
Hawke's Bay
BUSAALE School in Uganda I personally visited this school on 27-06-17
I am trying to raise $20 K for this school to invest in a maize, coffee and chicken business and to dig a borewell.
This is a private school that gets no funding and almost all of the 220 children's families pay no fees as they are too poor.
There are also 20 boys and 20 girls boarding there during the term that have to be fed.
There are 10 qualified teachers working at this school who get a lot less than if they were at a government school and sometimes there is no dollars to pay them.
I spent a couple of hours talking to the visionary leaders of the school about business that would ensure that the school becomes self sustaining and not a bottomless pit for dollars

27-06-17 I visited this school and saw the huge challenge.
They love the children and their community and are helping the best they can with almost zero income.
I'm into giving a hand up not a hand out to get them to the place where the businesses are paying for the school
GOAL : SELF SUSTAINING
- Coffee, Maise and Chicken Business 10k
- Borewell 10k
