Financial support required for victims of a serious car accident.
Canterbury
Ste and Dianne Byrne, together with their children Evan and Gracie, were involved in a serious car accident in Marlborough on Saturday: https://www.stuff.co.nz/national/113710825/father-and-daughter-critically-injured-in-marlborough-crash
Ste and Gracie are currently in ICU in critical but stable conditions. Currently, the family is spread across 3 separate hospitals - Dianne and Evan are in Blenheim, Ste is in Wellington and Gracie is at Starship Hospital in Auckland.
They're all a long way from home, and from each other. They have some family with them currently, and other family and friends are hoping to be with them as soon as possible.
The short-term need will be to help pay for flights and accommodation for key support people to be with Ste and Gracie particularly, but once they're all home they will doubtlessly face further financial pressure as they recuperate.
The Byrne family mean a huge amount to everyone here in their church, school and local communities. Please give generously so we can support them the way they've always supported all of us.
I'm Ste & Dianne's neighbour. They have a huge community of friends who want to support them through this difficult and uncertain time.
The funds will be used to pay for flights and accomodation for family and other close supporters to support the family in the short term. Any excess funds over these costs will be used to support ongoing rehabilitation costs.
