Cancer causes crisis

My name is Nikki Gillespie,

Last year I suffered from a severe clinical depression after loosing my best friend to a heroin overdose and a collapse of a relationship within 24 hours, I managed to focus on travelling and worked every day for 4 months to reach my goal and go overseas.

Whilst overseas in Europe I received news from my mother that my nana had passed away, my mother had been caring for my nana for the past 4 years, 3 weeks after the call I get another one to say my mother was in hospital, I booked a flight and came straight home, walked into middlemore hospital in Auckland and the next morning was told my mother had months to live and she was dying of lung and bone cancer, 13 days later my mother passed away, those 13 days were the hardest of my life but since her passing on july 24th my mental health has taken another dramatic dive. Having to come home and watch my mother die is something I never thought would happen in my worst of nightmares.

I came home with no money, using my reserve money to get back here for her and the little in my account has now been run dry. I have no place to call home, no furniture, no job and no money. This last month has been a battle to get up and stay out of bed for the day and I've had to face facts that I need help. I have been to my doctor and am on a path of getting my mental health back in order.

With this being said I still need some financial help to get me back on my feet and ready to tackle the world.

I potentially have a place in Auckland I could move Into however rent is 250 a week and I need to supply furniture to be able to live there.

My pride has gotten in the way many times in asking for help but right now this is my last resort, I need the help.

I am asking for donations to get me back on my feet, I dont expect anything from anyone and I know life is difficult for us all, but if there is anyone out there that could spare anything at all to help ease the struggle just a little I would be forever grateful.

My mother died with no money or assets in place.
