A call for help with Judiths Cancer general costs and a wet floor bathroom before she is unable to walk much longer. Long road ahead
Matamata, Waikato
We are not ones to ask for help but sometimes you just need to. My mum who is my best friend found out in October she has sacrum cancer and thyroid all secondary havent found the primary yet. This changed their whole life.We have moved her and dad into our home to help with personal.cares as dad is also a veteran with his own health issues.
We have been admitted to Hospital 3 times since december. It is costing a fair bit running to and from plus medical expenses and items that are needed. This women still worries about everyone else and wants to help them before herself. Being pensoniers money dont go far and to help relieve some stress thought we would help this beautiful women get a wet floor bathroom Some of this cancer is unoperable. We would love to get this done so she can leave rge house and live life to the fullest. We have been told to do this while we can as she may end up paralised due to the cancer . To this day Judith is still making checking on friends and family offering help even if she is unwell. Please help us relieve some stress off her and not having to worry. Today Judith has had Thyroid taken out and waiting for radioactive drink and chemo to start, some things are funded others are not. We are waiting to see what meds are funded and what arnt. Please help any lil donation will be much appreciated. We dont know what each day will throw at her but would like to support her and her husband.
Kia kaha, Thank you

Well Sunday morning was a bad one. Had to call the Ambulance and now we are back in Waikato Hospital suspected fracture to the hip. Doing ct scans on pelvis and mri scan on spine, hopefully the cancer has not spread to more areas. Medications are being changed and a couple stronger doses. Mum has been pretty tired and sore. Starting auctions and raffles on the matamata notice board to help our fundraising. Once home will go see some businesses and see if can get donations to help our fundraising. This is a hard Journey but we will not give up. Getting mum more stable to be able to handle her 5 day stay in here on own in April for radioactive/ Iodine drink. Please feel free to share our page or pass on to anyone you think would like to donate. We have again been turned down by funding for this but that is ok we will get there. Once again from us to you all. Thank u so much for your support.
Time to get this bathroom project sorted to help Judith out and to stay safe. We now have a walker, going to build a ramp for step and keep smiling. Her pain is hard but she is a fighter.
Thank u
