Financial stability while Glenn goes through a lengthy treatment
Auckland
Dad (Glenn) was diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma (rare and incurable blood cancer that affects the bone marrow) on the 26th December 2019 . He Started Chemotherapy on the 31st Dec and is awaiting radiation for a tumor at the base of his spine. Majority of his treatments will be in Auckland (a 2 hour drive) and is unable to work due to a broken disk bulging into his spinal cord that can potentially put him in a wheel chair, severe back pain and the side effects that come with cancer treatments. Any donations big or small would be very much appreciated to help with loss of income and travel expenses.
I (Glenn's daughter) will be doing the sky tower firefighter stair challenge with my full BA set on up over 1000 stairs to raise funds and awareness for the leukemia and blood cancer foundation. This is now a very personal goal and achievement and would love to help Dad out directly aswel .
Thank you to all that have supported him already, its means more to our family than you'll know ❤

The Passing of Dad 14 August 2020
On the 01 August Dad passed away suddenly and unexpectedly to complications with his stem cell transplant and developed sepsis that took over his body. As you can imagine it has been an absolute shock to our family, leaving behind Wendy, his wife and 8 children, 2 of which still live at home.
