  • The Passing of Dad

    On the 01 August Dad passed away suddenly and unexpectedly to complications with his stem cell transplant and developed sepsis that took over his body. As you can imagine it has been an absolute shock to our family, leaving behind Wendy, his wife and 8 children, 2 of which still live at home.

    This page will remain active to help support Mum, Brooke and Zakiah through this time.

    We want to thank you for all your support, it has not gone unnoticed xx

  • Latest Update 08.03.2020

    Dad is doing really well and has responded to the chemo treatment really well and his cancer markers are at 0 which is awesome news. The tumor at the base of his spine has shrunk quite a lot but it is still causing him a significant amount of pain so he will be receiving radiation treatment in the coming weeks we hope. He has started his bone strengthening treatment now but a little too late unfortunately as the lastest MRI scan showed that he has broken 4 more vertabrae in his spine which is less than ideal but apart from this everything is going good and results are as good as they can be. He is still unable to work due to the pain he is in and how careful he has to be to not cause any further damage.

  • Full Body MRI

    Dad had a full body MRI done at the beginning of the month and we are pleased and relieved to learb that he has no other tumors other than the one at the bottom of his spine. He has had 2 rounds of Chemo and is feeling OK, just very tired and loving his new chair that he purchased a week ago to support his sore back . Thank you all so much for your donations and support so far. Still a long road to recovery and all donations are very much appreciated and will be used where they are needed to support Mum, Dad and 2 siblings while they go through it all !
