Will (Boysie) Blakeway has a rare cancer and really needs your help to pay for his chemo treatment.

Bay of Plenty

Will (Boysie) Blakeway was diagnosed with a very rare and aggressive form of blood cancer called Mantle Cell Lymphoma in 2016. His first treatment was successful but he relapsed in July last year, 2018.

Unfortunately, the cancer has not responded to the chemotherapy or the subsequent allogeneic bone marrow transplant. We thank all of you who helped him reach that goal.

He now needs another form of chemotherapy treatment which is non-government funded. It is called Ibrutinib, the company name is Imbruvica.

We think this treatment will cost us in the region of NZ$50 000.

Please, we really need your help to pay for his treatment.

Use of funds

The money raised will be used to pay for Will's Ibrutinib which is a non- government funded cancer treatment.
