Wonderful family have lost everything in the February 2017 Port Hill Fires

Canterbury

The Claude family have lost everything in the February 2017 Port Hill Fires, their beautiful home, their possessions & their treasures.

A large fire has burnt through the port hills area leaving this family of 4 with nothing but the clothes on their backs. After a long & hard effort to rejuvenate native plants & wildlife a tragedy such as a large fire has devastatingly wiped it all out.

This family is the first family who have lost their well-loved home, so please donate to ensure this family receives all that they need after such a devastating couple of days.

Family is insured & have temp accommodation :)

Rebecca Skinner's involvement (page creator)

I'm involved because the family is my partners father, half sister, half brother & step mum. My partner grew up in this house & has also lost a lot of his childhood treasures.

Use of funds

All funds will be used to help the family of 4 get back on their feet & if possible, can be used to help others who may experience the same type of loss from these large bush fires
