We are fundraising to refresh our school playgrounds.

We are a small school in the heart of Wellington. Because of our proximity to Otari Bush and Ian Galloway Park our school playgrounds are regularly used by our wider community. We love this and want to ensure our playgrounds remain both safe and challenging so that the whole family can enjoy.
Our larger playground is only 10 years old but is really showing signs of wear and tear. With only 77 students it is hard for our PTA to raise the $15,000 to replace the parts of both playgrounds. Please support us to continue to provide a wonderful play space for the Wellington Western Suburbs and wider community to enjoy.
About us
Cardinal McKeefry School is a Year 1-8 urban Catholic primary school situated 15 minutes from Wellington city centre in the suburb of Wilton. Our school playgrounds are used by our wider community and we are fundraising to refresh the equipment. We are a vibrant school community and pride ourselves on developing independent learners. We are a small school, under 100 students, however we have a strength in diversity with 25 different countries represented in our community.
Use of funds
We will be purchasing replacement parts such as new flying fox, cargo nets and ladders. We will also be replacing the wooden decking on both playgrounds. Should we exceed our target we will use the excess to install shade cloths over both playgrounds.
