Adaptive Snow Sports

On the 26th September a team five us will be attempting a Winter Trialthlon via Mt Ruaph. We will be undertaking a 17km run up the mountain to Turoa ski resort, then will ski tour up the mountain and hike to the crater at the summit of Mt Ruapehu, an active volcano. From there we will ski down the other side of the mountain to the base of Whakapapa ski resort before cycling 55km back to Ohakune.

We will be raising money for Mt Ruapehu's adaptive programme. This programme provides opportunities for disabled people to participate in snowsports at every level from total beginner to Paralympic competitive standard.
