Help us respond to those suffering the ill effects of the current housing crisis. This project is 80% complete. Help us bring it home.
Wellington
Our family of nine started the Ōtaki Catholic Worker 12 years ago. We accommodate up to 25 people at any one time. We offer a safe and supportive environment for those struggling with addiction, mental health difficulties and homelessness. We are 12 months into our new community house project. The house is on site with power connected, however there is still much more to do before it is habitable. Funds are needed for: plumbing, grey water drainage, storm water, insulation, ablutions, heating and a deck. At a time of housing crisis, we are wanting to respond with the best, warmest, driest, supportive community for those who are down on their luck and who are amongst God's favourites.
Funds will be used to complete this community house and gain a CCC from the Council. Any shortfall will be covered by a miracle. Any excess, will be a miracle.
