Hello, I am age 14, I've been diagnosed with high-functioning Autism and in January 2018 I am planning on climbing Mount Kilimanjaro.
Auckland
In January 2018, I am planning on climbing Mount Kilimanjaro in Tanzania. I am trying to raise funds towards my travel costs as climbing the mountain is quite expensive (e.g flights, guides, porters, gear etc.)
About me: Hello, My name is Freeman McCall. I am 14 years old and live in Auckland. At age 8 I was diagnosed with high-functioning Autism. In July 2017, I walked the coast to coast in the UK. Nearly 200 miles taking 13 days. I have found that I like challenges very much and want to show that people with autism, and anyone worldwide can do anything if they really want too.
I am Climbing Mount Kilimanjaro to show that anyone with or without Autism can do anything if they really try.
I am trying to raise funds towards my travel costs as climbing the mountain is quite expensive (e.g Flights, Guides, porters, gear etc.) The trip costs between $8000-$10 000. Mum is saving hard but I would like to contribute.
25% of all donations will go to defray trip expenses and 75% will be given to Autism NZ.
Any donations are greatly appreciated
Mission Complete 11 March 2018
Hi all, sorry for the delay. We presented a cheque to Autism NZ last week for 500 dollars. They are always working hard for a good cause so if felt good to help them out.
This will be my last post for my Kilimanjaro Climb. After 7 months of planning and ‘doing’ I can finally call the Kili experience complete. What a mountain it was. Thanks to everyone for your support. I’ll see you in the future.
Many thanks
