We are wanting to take our boys, 2 who have disabilities away for a break and experience and enjoy life for a trip to Australia in September

We are a little family of five. Our eldest son Kanye has intellectual disability, epilepsy, sensory processing disorder and tends to get very unwell regularly. We make a lot of trips to the hospital with this wee guy who is just a happy soul.

Our middle son Marley has high functioning autism, separation anxiety disorder and is missing the end of his 11th chromosome. He doesn't cope with much on a regular basis but loves his lego.

Our little one Harper, well he's just a sweetie but often finds it hard that a lot of mine and hubby's attention goes to his brothers.

As my boys reach significant ages this year of 13, 10 and 5 we want to take them away to Australia in September so they can experience a break from everything... the therapists, specialists, doctors, teachers etc. We would love if you can give a little to help us get our boys there.

As parents, we do our very best to give them everything they need to live life to the full, but our means are limited, for in order for us to provide our children with the level of care they need we’ve had to step away from a career-focused life. But the community has always shown us such generosity and care in helping us give these boys a better childhood, so we’re eating our humble pie and putting the call out for assistance once more in the hopes of giving them a birthday celebration they will surely remember.

Use of funds

The money will be solely spent on the boy's flights, accommodation, theme park entry. Anything related to travel for them such as travel insurance for health, accessing transport over there.
