This is a special page set up to honour the work of Celia Lashlie and to give people the opportunity to support the projects close to Celia's heart. A special group of Celia's family and friends will use the funds to continue Celia's work, in accordance with her wishes. The idea is that we can progress some of the work Celia intended to do, before she was diagnosed with the horrible disease that is pancreatic cancer. A group of people from Celia’s “army” had met in December 2014 to talk strategy and next steps. It is absolutely heartbreaking that Celia will not see that work come to fruition.

I am Celia's daughter, Beks, and I am part of the team that works for Celia. "Celia's Projects" is the Give a Little title that we have given the core group of people that are helping facilitate the next phase of work that Mum wanted to do.
We will soon put a page on Celia's website to provide information on the funds received and what they are/have been used for.

First of all, a huge thank you for your very generous contribution to the Celia Lashlie Projects Givealittle page. We have been absolutely overwhelmed with the number of people that have contributed and are so very thankful.
I don’t have much to update you at this stage – as you can imagine, we are all still trying to process and deal with the grief we have since losing our beloved Celia, and Mum. It has been a very tough and surreal time, but it has certainly helped getting the numerous supportive and loving emails that we have. Mum certainly touched a lot of lives and we were very lucky to have her for the time that we did. We miss her so much, and life just does not seem the same without her.
In terms of the money raised from Givealittle…I wanted to touch base and let you know that a core team of people and I are starting to think about next steps with Mum’s work. We are just about ready to start thinking about where to from here. We had done some work with Mum in the latter stages of 2014 which gave us the beginnings of a plan, but we have some work to do now and we have to think about what we do without our immensely talented and passionate leader.
Once we have some more to tell, we will be in touch with you and will also start using the website (www.celialashlie.nz) to provide more information. If you have any questions or concerns, please do get in touch.
We are very keen to keep Mum’s legacy going and to make sure we honour her in the best way that we can…..and we appreciate your help to date. Thank you so much.
