    Well our Charlie is growing from strength to strength. Not only that, his wing that was amputated has changed.

    I got to bird nap my Charlie to get him to Amber for his vet appointment. It takes a village of us all, to have made his new life possible.

    I’m not the most confident person around birds, I am not experienced, our Charlie was super gorgeous and very good.

    We got lots of waves from people in other cars. He pretty much hugged & kissed all the way 🥹🤍🪽.

    His vet is SUPER IMPRESSED at how well he’s healing.

    To see him so happy is a dream come true 🤍.

    Still healing & rehab to come. Again we thank you for your support so far.

    Charlie is already showing signs of relief. He’s actually grinding his beak. This (for those who don’t know) is a sign of happiness and contentment.

    Amber has never seen him do this before today after surgery.

    It clearly shows the weight of lugging his deformed wing is now gone. The abuse he suffered will never again be him dragging his wing.

    We are so excited to see his new journey 💛❤️🥹.

    He’s home safe and snuggled up ♥️
