Charteris Bay house fire victims - community support
In response to a tragic house fire on Monday 25 November the local community wish to support the young couple who lost their home.

The victims of Monday 25th's fire are a young couple who work in the Lyttelton Harbour area. One of them grew up in Diamond Harbour, the other moved here from Lyttelton a few years ago. They have been humbled by the goodwill and expressions of support shown to them already.
There has been a lot of interest shown by members of the local community wishing to help this young couple who were not insured and lost everything in the fire. This page allows people to contribute if they would like to and the money will be used to help them get started again.
