Danae Saxons Fundraiser
Rangiora, Canterbury
I am Danaes friend Mel, I am putting my hair on the line and will be cutting off my long dreadlocks to raise as much money as I can for the Saxon family.
This will be done at 7pm Saturday 2nd of July at the Ray White Stall at the Rangiora light and sound festival.
Everyone is more than welcome to come along and watch, even join in and cut a dread if you have made a donation. I am hoping to raise in excess of $5,000 for the family, so please give generously. Donations can be made on here through the givealittle page or cash at the Rangiora light and sound festival.
Please support me as I support my friend in her time of need. All the money raised from this event goes directly to making memories for this young family.
Danae was first diagnosed in Oct 2017 with an aggressive form of breast cancer and started chemotherapy, surgery and radiation immediately and was able to beat it to remission.
However in March 2021 she had a biopsy and the news that the cancer was back, this time it was terminal.
Danaes positive outlook on life has got her through so much already and she continues to enjoy every day with her amazing family.
This fundraiser is to ease the financial pressure this family is struggling with and to allow them the time and resources to make amazing memories together.
