Help For Chris's Recovery
Please help this amazing young family while Chris recovers from pneumonia in Wellington Hospital.

Chris and Brooke are an amazing young family, with their son Nico and another baby due to arrive in a few months they have a lot to look forward to. Unfortunately earlier in the week Chris was diagnosed with pneumonia and admitted to Wairau Hospital. He has been trying to let his body fight the infection but this evening the lack of sleep and exhaustion meant he could no longer do this on his own. Chris has been transferred to Wellington Hospital and placed on life support to allow his body to fight the infection and recover. Brooke is by his side. We need your help to assist Chris and Brooke so they can concentrate on getting Chris back fighting fit. Any donation is greatly appreciated, big or small.

Chris is my brother in law and a well known member of the community.
We want to make sure there is no financial burden on this young family during this tough time so they can concentrate on getting Chis well and home where he belongs.
Use of funds
Fund will be donated directly to Chris and Brooke to help with travel costs, child care and weekly expenses

Chris's Recovery Update 4 August 2017
Chris has been stable in Wellington Hospital this week and got to enjoy time with his son Nico on his 2nd birthday on Tuesday.
Today Chris is undergoing surgery to remove excess fluid from his lungs. This procedure will mean Chris will move back to ICU for a few days so nurses can monitor his chest drain and ensure the fluid continues to clear.
Chris has been able to to catch up with family and friends this week and passes on his thanks for the huge amount of support shown to his young family.
While he still has a long way to go, hopefully today's surgery will mean he can get on top of the infection once and for all.
