In 2015 after a car accident I found a lump in my left breast. A mammogram and biopsy confirmed I had breast cancer on my 45th birthday. I had two lumpectomies and finally a bilateral mastectomy as they were unable to get all the cancer in the previous surgeries. This was followed by chemotherapy. I thought that since I had caught it early and had followed all the recommended treatments I would be fine but less than 9months later one of my vertebrae collapsed and I end up in hospital where it was confirmed that the cancer had returned and was now through out all my bones. After surgery to replace the vertebra and rods to stabilise my spine I started treatment to slow the spread of the cancer.

Unfortunately none of the options worked until now but during that time it spread to my lungs and liver. Once this current chemo treatment stops working one of the last options I have left before the hard hitting chemos is Ibrance a non funded drug. The monthly cost of this drug is $6000 per month a figure I cannot afford on my own.

Family and friends have requested a Give a Little page so they can help raise funds for the purchase of Ibrance.

Use of funds

The money will be spent on Ibrance and other associated medical costs
