ConnectMe Kids - Sponsor a Kid into Sport

Having two teenage boys who have played rugby since they were 5, I have realised the importance of a kid being able to be part of a team. The coaching, mentoring, training, friendships, teamwork, commitment and camaraderie - all these things have been important building blocks for building my boys into who they are today. I would love for every Kiwi Kid to have the opportunity to be part of a team sport but understand that the costs involved with subs and equipment can make this impossible for some.

ConnectMe Kids is hoping to make this possible for as many children who would love to have a go at a team sport or who have started out but can no longer afford to continue. It is also about enabling these families to become part of a sporting community that is a big part of so many kiwi families lives, throughout their kids school years.

If you can put your hand up to contribute, I know it will make a difference to a child and their family. If you or your company, are in a position to help make this happen, there will be several ways to help from outright sport subs payments to a club, donations of sports equipment or partial donations that will combine with others to pay for a kids subs and equipment for a season.

ConnectMe Kids will look to deal with the sports clubs directly to ensure sponsorship goes where it is needed.
