Their world has been ruffled with this unexpected health problem and is going to be a hard road ahead for this family.
Canterbury
I am starting this give-a-little page for my dearest friends Connor and Sarah Farrell.
This week has been a week from hell for them.
Connor started his day out as normal and went to work to provide for his family. By morning tea he was rushed to hospital and then taken straight thru to Christchurch for emergency MRI scans and various other testing.
He has bleeding on the brain and he will be going in for surgery on the 16th February.
He has been informed that he will not be able to work for at least the next 4 months and no driving for 6 months. He is a hard worker and he is the main income earner for his family.
The next few months is going to be a tough road for them and there is a lot of expenses such as travel, food, accommodation etc that is going to occur and that's not to mention the weekly bills of mortgage, power, rates and so on.
Connor and Sarah are the first to do anything for anyone else and are always there to help people in a time of need. They are very independent and don't want to be seen as a charity case so this is why I have taken it upon myself to help.
So please if you can give just a little something to help them get through it would mean the world. It means that they as a family will be able to go and stay in Christchurch together to be by Connor's side as he goes through this surgery and the long road of recovery ahead.
I am a close friend to the family and are wanting to help them.
