After a year of fighting lymphoma I need a stemcell transplant. I am asking for help to cover costs while I am receiving treatment.
Canterbury
Hi I have been fighting Lymphoma cancer for the last year. After 12 rounds of different chemo i am having a stem cell transplant in hope of clearing the cancer cells. In that time I have been unable to work and my family have worked hard to make ends meet.
I would like to raise some money to help relieve the financial burden while I have my transplant. I will have to be away in Christchurch hospital for at least 4weeks with a support person, it would be great not to have to worry about how we will cover to cost of medical costs, transport back and forward from Timaru to Christchurch, accomodation, bills and food over this time and while I recover.
I will use funds to cover treatment costs like prescription fees which are not cover and are expensive. transport, accomodation, food for myself and a carer while I am away from home and after as I recover.
