In October 2018, I cycled across Cambodia to help raise awareness and funds to fight modern day slavery. Please help by donating to IJM.

Wellington

Modern day slavery is vast and brutal - there are over 45 million people trapped in slavery and annually it generates more than $190 billion. Almost 25 million people are trapped in forced labour and 10 million are children.

I'm taking action to fight this crime. In October 2018 I cycled across Cambodia with 13 of my Wotton + Kearney colleagues to raise money for International Justice Mission (IJM) Australia, along the way we spent time in IJM's Cambodian field offices getting a first hand view of IJM's work and hearing stories of those IJM have rescued.

IJM helps rescue vulnerable children, women and men experiencing slavery and violent oppression.

Slavery should not exist in our modern society, please help me fight to eradicate it.

This fundraising is linked to Wotton + Kearney's Australian fundraising via their Australian everdayhero fundraising page.

I'm inspired by the work of IJM Australia Ltd in fighting modern day slavery and helping rescue the 45 million people trapped in slavery around the world.

Use of funds

The funds will be used by IJM to cover their operational costs of the National Investigations & Enforcement Team in IJM's new labour trafficking project in Cambodia.
