Dancing for a Cause - Nelson Hospice
A fabulous night of "Dancing with the Stars"-type entertainment raising money for a new Nelson Hospice.

This is a Dancing with the Stars-type event being run by the Inspiring Youth Theatre Charitable Trust (which supports the work of Nelson's Youth Theatre), called "Dancing for a Cause".
8 well known local personalities receive instruction in a Ballroom Dancing style and compete on the day to win the inaugural Dancing for a Cause trophy. The goal is to raise $50,000 to $100,000 for Nelson Hospice at the event through fully catered tables ($2500 seat 10 or $2000 seat 8), 'no frills' tables ($1500), and seats in the Trafalgar Centre stadium for $30 or $100 family of 4.
People can also donate through each contestant's Give a Little page by linking your donation to support your favourite contestant, helping them to reach their individual fundraising goal of $2000.
About us
Hospice is such a worthwhile cause, I'm hoping to personally raise $2000 of the $100,000 goal of fundraising towards a new Nelson Hospice.
Use of funds
While we aim to keep all overheads to a minimum, 90% of all profits go to support Nelson Hospice, while 10% go to the Inspiring Youth Theatre Charitable Trust running the event to support the work of Nelson's Youth Theatre.
