Deadliest road accident at SHI north of Picton, South.Island

A family, returning from a funeral in Dunedin were on their way to Picton to catch a ferry to Auckland. They were involved in a tragic accident, lost 7 family members and a baby.
Two family members are in the intensive care in Wellington.
CESS CLARIMAN, daughter of Desiree Lagud Brown , stepdad, Paul Brown ,FROIBEL DOLAR, ( wife Divine) & a Baby were casualties ), PEDRO LAGUD, and another young brother ,( in hospital), needs the financial support for the expenses they are facing due to this event.
We are asking for your compassion and help the families in this very challenging situation.

Use of funds
Funds will be used for funeral expenses, ongoing medical needs for the two in intensive care and to support the family at this time. Although ACC shall also provide support for funeral & medical costs, but not enough to cover the whole amount.

The goal and dates were updated to ensure that family from the Philippines can come. 22 June 2022
Due to the enormity of the situation, date and goal amount are updated. Awaiting for families to be able to come to New Zealand.
