To help support Denvah on her journey so we can make her treatment as comfortable as possible.
Taranaki
Denvah's journey started in March 2021 just after her 9th birthday. After feeling unusually unwell our GP ordered numerous tests including ultrasound and ct scans. The results confirmed she had a 13cm tumour on her left kidney. Within 12 hours of learning this we were in Starship hospital. Her kidney was removed entirely on a 6 hour Op.
Further testing showed it had spread to her lungs. To treat this Denvah is currently undergoing Chemotherapy for 28 weeks. She will also be doing Radiotherapy.
This all happened very quickly. Before this all happened she was your typical happy, cheeky, full of life 9 year old girl, and throughout all of this she has shown love, strength and bravery.
We welcome you to join us on her journey to recovery and cure. We pray and believe her treatments will be successful!
Any funds raised will help with the logistics of getting Denvah to and from her treatments and anything necessary to help her be comfortable
including wigs, hats and beanies etc.
Any funds left after will be donated to the Ronald McDonald House NZ
