Helping to gather funding for Geralds family to rebuild their lives after everything was lost

Ratana, Manawatu-Wanganui

On Monday 15th of November a devastating fire ripped through the home of a 94 year old nan and her great grand daughter’s small beautiful family. They were lucky enough to escape safely but with only the clothes on their backs, nan didn’t even have her glasses. They have lost absolutely everything in the house fire including 94 years of memorable items and photos. This house had extra sentimental value as it was the home of a Nan to many in Ratana Paa, it was a place whanau would visit have lunch and catch up. Unfortunately the home was uninsured at the time so we have set up this give a little page in effort to assist them financially with the significant cost to re-establish their lives again and to hopefully build a new home.
