This page has been started to raise funds for the Bates Family who have lost their wife and mother so unexpectedly.

Diana has been taken from us so tragically. Diana was and still is an immensely loved mother, wife, sister, auntie, friend, work colleague and midwife. Diana has given so very much to her family, friends and her community in so many different ways, it is almost impossible to imagine life without her. Whilst no words or deeds can ever take away the pain and loss for Diana's family, our monetary gifts have the potential to ease the financial burden for this family as they face the future without their mother and wife. Diana Bates was our friend and midwifery colleague. Di tragically died suddenly on 19th April 2019 leaving her husband and 3 young children. Financial contributions from her friends and colleagues will be of great help as this family faces a future without their beloved mother and wife.
Use of funds
The funds will be given to the Bates Family for them to use in whatever way they need to as they face the future without Diana.
