My name is Cooper!🐅

I am five years old and a rescue pup - Greyhound-Lab Cross.

I have the most caring and loving dog mama in the world which has set up this wee page for me to help us with funds for my upcoming surgery! (We are eagerly awaiting a date for surgery).

Unfortunately, whilst having the time of my life at doggy daycare, running around at the beach, I have completely ruptured my cruciate in my right knee and will need surgery so I can be pain free and live a happy life again using all four paws! (Happened 29/03/2021) I am currently limping and can’t put weight on my leg at all. Of course getting lots and lots of snuggles♥️

I am currently in a lot of pain so I am taking doggie nurofen until we have a surgery date so I can get this poor leg fixed!

The surgery will mean a wee while of strict rest - which I can do best being a couch potato. The incredible part is I will be able to have full use of my leg again and be able to jump and run around when the time comes! And the most amazing thing of all... I will be part bionic as I am getting a fancy titanium plate to support my knee joint, it will be so strong and will never break! The vet said bones would break before this tough plate does! Wow - if that doesn’t mean I’ll have superpowers then I don’t know!

The x-rays did however show that I have healthy hips and no sign of arthritis so we are celebrating the little wins... with lots and lots of snuggles and treats of course.

Dog mama Celeste - Anyone that knows Cooper, knows how much of an absolute smooch and caring, handsome doggo he is. It absolutely breaks me to see him in so much pain. I am terrible at asking for help. Every little bit helps to bridge this $5k estimated surgery cost! *This surgery is definitely happening so this is not a “must get the funds before it happens” type of thing, don’t you worry! This doggo means too much to me to not get this done ASAP.
