Double Tragedy - Loving parents lose both their young sons in Easter Weekend crash

On Good Friday, 4-year-old Arteen Mosaferi, and Radeen Mosaferi, who was 2 months old, died after a crash between two cars and two truck-and-trailer units on Desert Rd near Waiouru.

Arteen died at the scene, and his little brother died at Starship Hospital on Sunday from his injuries.

Their mother, Dr Mohadeseh Sharifi, was critically injured and their father, Siamak Mosaferi, received moderate injuries.

Mohy is now in a stable condition, however she is likely to be in hospital recovering from her injuries for well over a month. Sia is by her side recovering also.

Although we continue to offer Sia and his wife support, there isn't a lot we can do to mend their broken hearts. We have chosen to create this page in hope that we can raise some funds so that when they are ready, they will not be faced with additional financial burdens that come with such tragedies.
