As part of Dhiren’s final wishes he requested that instead of flowers support is given to Dove House Hospice to enhance the care of others.
Auckland
Dhiren fought a long battle with cancer which he sadly lost on the 10th November 2017.
In the last 4 weeks of his life particularly but also at various times over the course of his fight, he was cared for with dignity, respect and compassion by all the staff at Dove House and the Dove Wing hospice in St. Andrews Village in Glendowie in Auckland.
It is a wonderful facility, staffed by truly caring, professional and gentle people who made his last days as comfortable as possible.
It is wholly funded through donations and in keeping with Dhiren’s wishes not to have flowers at the funeral, his wife Ingrid is hoping to collect any contributions that any of his many friends and family around the world would like to make and send those in one sum as a gift to Dove House to enable them to further enhance and develop the excellent service they provide.
Dhiren received wonderful care here in his last few weeks
