Down In Edin Magazine is a vibrant quarterly arts, culture and sustainable lifestyle 'on-line journal' celebrating the creative people, beautiful landscapes, wildlife and environment of Dunedin and Otago, in the South Island of New Zealand.
The magazine's 'mission' is to inspire appreciation for the good we have around us through stories based in arts, culture and sustainable lifestyles. We are a not for profit 'Unincorporated Society'.
Funds raised contribute toward the running expenses and continuation of the magazine. We have an open goal as each little bit goes towards operating expenses. Every little bit helps, every little bit moves us forward, and every little bit is greatly appreciated!

Our final three special editions 29 August 2022
Hi Everyone,
I'm thinking this will be my final update and note as editor and creator of Down in Edin as I have less than three weeks before this portal of support and generosity closes.
Firstly, thank you to all who have helped us keep the archives open until the end of May next year, it's absolutely wonderful to be able to do that! And, I want to say thank you to you all, everyone, for the long haul and wish you each the best for the future. Great health, love, and abundance!
I've created a finale, a final epic opus. A collection to celebrate our readers, contributors, and those whose stories we were able to share over the past eight and a half years. The collection is like a beautiful index or a giant triple-decker TARDIS. It's a fantastic gathering of creative souls! When I pick up the "daily news" I need an antidote, and when I read these stories shared in DIEM, my faith in humanity is restored.
You've all assisted in many different ways to enable this work to be - and if I can leave you with anything, it is this - all of us have contributed to a world more beautiful, one story at a time.
