Funds for Rose

Rose has been a friend of mine since primary school, we are now 28. She was born a normal little girl which all changed at the age of 15 months when she got very ill with a virus which slowed down her development and then later on at the age of 8 she was diagnosed with SLE elements which is a form of Lupus and also Rhumatiod Arthritis creating a crossover syndrome.

Rose made the most of the life she had been dealt with, with major changes as her condition has always been deteriorating.

By the age of 13 she could no longer walk on her own and was solely dependant on a walking frame. Coming into her teenage years she could never do what other kids were doing and this made it hard for Rose to have a social life.

Regular doctors visits and specialist testing all her life have recently uncovered Peripheral Nueropathpy which is combined with a undiagnosible neurological degenerative disorder which has been stated as seperate to the other issues. This has been contributing to her physical deterioration.

A once in a lifetime opportunity has come up for all Rose's dreams to come true, with the outside world becoming harder for Rose to feel a part of she got really into a TV show the Vampire Diaries where she could imagine her life in a fantasy world like that on the TV. It has always given her joy and I've heard non stop for years all about these fictional characters and the actors themselves. Recently she's found there is going to be a convention over in the States and I know this would make her 'literal' dreams come true.

We can get some funding to help cover costs for a carer to go with her as Rose will need someone with her at all times.

I would like to raise as much as I can to help make this trip become possible for Rose so she has one amazing thing to remember in her life before her time is up.
