A group of friends attempting the Rickshaw Run, in order to raise money to help improve the treatment and services for bowel cancer patients
Auckland
A group of friends from Auckland, New Zealand, will attempt the Rickshaw Run. A 3,500km pan-Indian adventure in a 7 horsepower glorified lawnmower. The Rickshaw Run is easily the least sensible thing to do with two weeks, and we are doing it all for charity.
Each year, as many kiwis (approximately 1200) will lose their lives to bowel cancer, as to breast and prostate cancers combined.
We aim to raise money in order to help aid research into the early diagnosis and treatment of bowel cancer.
All payments received will benefit the Bowel Cancer Foundation Trust. You can read up on all of their amazing work at http://www.bowelcancerfoundation.org.nz/
