Give a little, live a lot

Hi everyone (:

My name is Dylan Bowman,

I'm 21 years old and have just been diagnosed with ependymoma(a rare incurable aggressive cancerous tumour of usually the spine, mine has grown in a unknown place of the brain where it wouldn't usually grow, in the right-parietal lobe) Quite literally shortening my life, due to the unknown growth location my neurologists/neurosurgeons they can't give me a definite on how long I have left.

Previous to this I was mountain biking, swimming and working full time as a chef when my left side gave up which had me sent to hospital.

I've had surgery and am about to start radiation treatment to prolong the worst outcome.

I'm living away from home, making the most of what I've got, and what I have to give.

I am looking at getting into a awareness group to promote mental health. And ultimately I'd love to return to what I love doing, in the kitchen cooking.
