My name is Ella, and I have a chronic disease called endometriosis.

Endometriosis is a condition where the tissue that usually grows inside the uterus grows outside of the uterus and onto pelvic organs. In my case, pelvic organs that are affected are my bowel & bladder as well as the back of my uterus.

Endometriosis causes chronic abdominal pain, back and hip pain, bowel and bladder dysfunction, nausea, excessive bleeding, cysts, and if left untreated- infertility. Just to name a few.

Those of you that know me will know how badly Endometriosis has debilitated my life over the last 7 years. Hundreds of trips to hospital both in gisborne and in Wellington have left me with scars from 3 surgeries so far.

Its time to put an end to to my endo and see a private endometriosis SPECIALIST surgeon in Auckland called Micheal East.

It is with your help that I plan on getting life changing surgery from Michael that will allow me to finally live my life. He is renowned for his work and has changed the lives of woman like myself who suffer with chronic endometriosis pain daily.

It is with a heavy heart that I open myself up like this and ask for help but I am at my wits ends with this. The costs of surgery alone from the private specialist is expensive and one myself or my family can’t fully fund alone. With your help it would give me a second chance at a healthy life. A life where I would give back to the community 10 fold through my work as a Early Childhood Teacher, Nutritionist and lifestyle coach.
