Facilities for Ravensbourne Boat Club and Youth Yachting

We have spent the last six years fighting for the land title that our busy little club sits on, without the title we haven't been able to raise the funds needed to update the sewage system and related facilities. The land title has now been given to us and we are making every effort possible to raise funds to get new facilities installed.

The Ravensbourne Boat Club is home to the popular and successful Ravensbourne Youth Yachting Trust (more info below), the youth will benefit greatly from the facilities. Currently kids can't have a shower after sailing and we can't hold any large events because we just can't use any of our facilities.

With your help we can raise the much needed funds to install the much needed facilities to the benefit of our youth and the wider community. We are excited to take the club into the future and hold more community events on the harbor.

Ravensbourne Youth Yachting Trust allows children and young people throughout the Otago region, to get out on the water and try sailing for free, no matter your back ground or experience. We have a fleet of "learn to sail" yachts for the youth and you don't even have to be a member of the Ravensbourne Boat Club. Everyone is welcome and the aim is to have fun out on the water and learn to sail in a safe environment with out having to outlay thousands of dollars on a boat.
