Auckland
Yogesh is a Happy and a very emotional Person who loves his family to the core. 4 years back he was detected with cancer, Brian Tumer. He underwent surgeries and the tumour was taken out but there still a little left. It all looked positive though and he saw himself living a long life and we all did. He got married to Divya in 2015. Divya since then has sacrificed her heart and health for him. They had a baby girl in 2017 and they named her Krisha. With a strong will power, the family moved on in life. With Divyas and Yogesh's Parents devotion the tumour started Shrinking. Yogesh felt his family is incomplete without his parents near him who were in India. His parents arrived in NZ in 2018.
After celebration their daughters first birthday, Yogesh started loosing his health all of a sudden. This time the tumour started growing and that too fast. It started spreading. Week by week it got worst. Family looked helpless. Divya was trying to run the family. She used to work as family struggled big time with finances. Yogesh soon got paralysed and couldnt move, hear or talk. With parents Visa expiring, they had to leave their son in such condition and go back to India. We all felt helpless. Yogesh is now in Hospice fighting for life against Cancer with a very little time left. Divya is unable to call his parents back due to lack of time and money.
The Parents wont be able to see their only child go knowing that he will farewell soon. Helpless again. But no, here we can help, we need to and we will.
I am a very close friend of Divya and her husband Yogesh Patel. I have flatted with them for almost 1.5 years. Due to Yogesh's medical condition, Divya and their 1.5 year old daughter is facing a lot of crisis financially and mentally. Me and people who know the couple have been trying to support them in everyway we could.
Money will be spent on arranging funeral and hopefully we will be able to bring Yogesh's parents to New Zealand so that they are by his side in last moments
