Feeding the community of Te Puke - Covid 2020
Partner today with the Te Puke based Charity behind the Daily Cafe to help feed those in need during this challenging time!Bay of Plenty
You may have heard of our awesome little cafe, The Daily Cafe, in Te Puke?
Like everyone else in hospo we have been closed down for the duration of the Covid lockdown.
The good news is we are actually a charity, and while our beautiful coffees and slices aren't essential right now, our extra services are...
We supply emergency meals to our local community and we have partnered with our local council, and other charitable organisations to continue, and even upgrade our rate of production as the needs have significantly increased as a result of job losses and other financial pressures.
WE NEED YOUR HELP.
Unfortunately due to the regulations the Ministry of Health have set over the next few weeks we are unable to rally our amazing crew of volunteers to help with the cooking and prep.
HOWEVER...if you would like to help in another practical way we would like to give you the chance to donate financially towards the cause.
Every dollar goes a long way at the moment, and our amazing chef Andrew will ensure we get the best bang for every buck.
We are hoping to produce around 400 meals per week, which is a monumental increase on our 100 per month!
If you have even $5 to spare that could feed one family a hot cooked meal for the day <3
Thank you for all of our support and kind words! Even more so than a cooked meal we know that your smiles and kind words to our local community are truly going to be what makes us get through this challenging time.
See you all again soon when this is over at the Daily! Can't wait to be sharing a coffee and a hug again soon.
Ps. If you have any questions please direct them to email@example.com
