The Fiji Village Project is a non-profit student initiative, which aims to improve the health outcomes of those living in rural Fijian villages.

It involves a handful of medical, nursing, optometry, and pharmacy students travelling to villages outside of Suva and participating in health screening, education and establishing a clean water supply.

I am a second year nursing student who has been selected to participate in this two week medical project to Fiji at the beginning of 2019. Our aim is to raise money to donate for medical supplies and for the equipment needed for a clean water supply.

Nursing is my passion, and my goal is to provide aid and healthcare access to people in need. This is a project very important to my heart and I am looking forward being able to make a small difference in peoples lives.

Every cent helps and will be treated with the utmost care! Your help is invaluable and greatly appreciated.

I have previously participated in two international volunteer projects, one to Peru and the other to Thailand, and these have ignited my passion for volunteering and aid work.
