Laurens short film is hitting a big screen in Philly!

My name is Lauren,

If you don't know me, I work for a NFP Pay-As-You-Feel charity restaurant, I am a passionate freediver, a budding film maker, a story teller, an explorer, a creative and a chatterbox.

A last minute but amazing opportunity has come up and I'm going to have to ask for your help.

My short documentary 'A Beginners Tail' has been selected to screen at 'The Women's Film Festival' in Philadelphia, PA USA on August 18th 2024.

"What did you want to be when you were 5?"

Synopsis - "In her late twenties, life has thrown Lauren some tough times, but while healing she found comfort and connection again in the water. Little did she know, that these moments in the ocean would fire up an old childhood dream and lead her to a new sport and passion."

I am incredibly honored and would really like to attend this film festival, not only to support my film and see it on the big screen, but to connect, support & encourage other women and future women in the film and entertainment industry.

However, the cost of attending the festival;

Travel, accommodation, is a lot and unfortunately my financial situation at the moment does not allow me to cover these expenses on my own.
