The Uruti community is fundraising for a private helicopter to continue the search for local man Karl Roberts.

Karl has been missing since 1st August 2017 after a car crash on Uruti Road. Fears are held for his safety. The Uruti community through the Uruti interest group want to give people an opportunity to donate to help pay for a helicopter to continue searching.

This is an incident that has happened in our community. The Uruti Interest Group is setting up this page on behalf of the local community to enable people to donate so that we can find Karl.

The official search and rescue has now been stood down - leaving the search efforts to the Roberts family, friends and the Uruti community.
