Four cops raising money for their chosen charities by shaving off their manes.

Constable Jack Driver runs the Waikato Police Facebook Page. For a number of years the audience have been muttering how he should be shaving that 'thing' off his face.
His barber and friend (Barry's) mother passed away. Barry has come to understand the good work that Hospice do for people in their time of need. Jack wants to raise money for Waikato Hospice in remembrance of Barry's mum.
Tagging along are three other cops. They each have their own stories and have selected a charity (one each). The aim is to raise at least $10,000 and each charity will receive a $2,500 cheque from the shaven officer.
Detective Thomas Joubert is donating his quarter to CanTeen. Thomas has lost two cousins to leukaemia. Everyone knows someone that has been affected by cancer but it is especially hard when they are a young person.
Detective John Craig has worked two stints working on the Child Protection Team. He feels like the world could do a little more for our young people, especially when they are in troubled times. WaiKids is who he has chosen
Custody Officer Nathan Dixon's daughter has a heart condition. Along with his family, they have seen the great work HeartKids do first-hand. Nathan wants to give back to them.
No grooming will be conducted as from the 1st of September 2018. The shaving will take place at Victoria on the river, near 298 Victoria Street, Hamilton at 2pm on the 1st of December 2018 in Hamilton.
